1. Understand and Use the Buttons of the Controller

  • Power Button

Remove your finger only when you feel the air compressor start to run. It takes about 15 seconds from starting to pressurizing.

  • Power off Button

It takes about 20 seconds to press the stop button to completely stop. Note: It is forbidden to press the emergency switch to stop unless there are special circumstances.

  • Operation Dtatus

Generally, there are: shutdown, loading, no-load, long-term shutdown and other states. Note: Long-term shutdown is a normal state. In this state, the machine stops completely and automatically starts when the pressure drops.

2. Usage Process of Air Compressor for Laser Cutting Machine

  • Connect the air compressor to the laser cutting machine;
  • Connect the air compressor to the power supply;
  • Start the air compressor and run it at low load to increase the pressure of the air compressor tank and let the pressure rise to the maximum (when the pointer reaches 90);
  • Open the exhaust valve and you can use compressed air;
  • After use, we need to turn off the air compressor and press the red button;
  • Turn off the power supply of the air compressor;
  • Release the dirt and compressed air in the gas tank. When the pressure of the gas tank is between 0.05MPa and 0.1MPa, open the lower drain cock of the gas tank and release the dirt in the tank;
  • When the pressure of the gas tank is zero, its pointer also returns to "0", and the air pipe can be unplugged at this time;
  • The last step is to close the exhaust valve.

3. Precautions for Starting and Shutting Dow

Startup: Turn on the power supply, observe whether there is any abnormality, and then turn on the air compressor.
Note: When turning on the dryer, please listen for the exhaust sound of the start-up (the drain valve is open); after turning on the air compressor for laser cutting machine, pay attention to whether there is any abnormal sound; and fill in the start-up inspection form for the day.
Shutdown Sequence: After cutting is completed, turn off the laser cutting machine first, and then turn off the air compressor. After turning off the air compressor, wait for the countdown to clear, and finally turn off the power.
Note: After turning off all equipment, turn off the power switch; open the gas tank drain valve to drain, and pay attention to turn it off when starting up.

4. Precautions During Use

Daily Precautions

  • Drainage must be done more than once a day; it can be done after starting up or shutting down at the same time.
  • If the rest period exceeds 30 minutes, please shut down; the power must be turned off when shutting down.
  • The status of the air compressor must be recorded more than twice a day (refer to the inspection record).
  • The working condition of the automatic drainer (if any) must be observed once a day; avoid the situation where no drainage occurs for a long time; it will cause water to flow back into the air compressor, or pollute the rear equipment.
  • In special circumstances, please turn off the power immediately and contact relevant after-sales personnel.

5. Maintenance Requirements

  • Clean the Filter

Unscrew the filter and replace the filter element. Reinstall the filter and replace other filter elements in turn. Finally, we add oil to the oil separator, unscrew the screw of the oil filling port, and add oil to the blue position of the oil level gauge.

  • Check the Pipeline

Check the gas pipeline regularly to ensure that there is no air leakage.

  • Oil Level Check

If an oil-lubricated air compressor is used, check the oil level regularly and add lubricating oil if necessary.
