Periodic Maintenance Process of Air Compressor Laser Cutter

Air compressor laser cutter is one of the indispensable equipment in the industrial field, and it plays a key role in many production processes. In order to ensure the normal operation of laser air compressor and extend its service life, regular maintenance is particularly important. The following is the regular maintenance process of air compressor to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and extend its service life.

1. Refueling

Please use the recommended lubricant and do not mix different lubricants. When the air compressor laser cutter is just stopped, the lubricant is very hot. Do not open the refueling plug when the oil separator is under pressure. The disposal of waste oil should be in accordance with local regulations. Refueling Turn off the power of the unit and close the outlet valve of the unit. Confirm whether the pressure in the oil separator barrel has been released, and the pressure gauge should be zeroed.

  • Open the refueling plug;
  • Add oil to 1/3 of the upper and lower limits of the oil gauge;
  • Tighten the refueling plug;
  • Open the outlet valve of the unit.

2. Oil Change (the Oil Separator Needs to Be Replaced at the Same Time)

Recommended 1000 hours, the first maintenance is 500 hours

Do not open the oil filler plug when the oil separator is under pressure. The disposal of waste oil should be in accordance with local regulations. When changing oil, turn off the power supply of the unit and close the outlet valve of the unit. Confirm whether the pressure in the oil separator barrel has been released, and the pressure gauge should be zeroed.

  • Open the oil filler;
  • Remove the oil drain plug, open the valve and drain the old oil in the oil; separator barrel;
  • Add oil to 1/3 of the upper and lower limits of the oil gauge;
  • Tighten the oil filler;
  • Open the outlet valve of the unit.

3. Replace the Oil Filter

Let the compressor cool down before work. The disposal of used oil filters should comply with the relevant regulations on toxic wastewater. Please use the original "Hannimik" oil filter.

  • Pressure relief measures should be taken before maintenance;
  • The oil filter is installed near the air end. Use fiber fabric to wipe the oil that comes out when the oil filter is removed;
  • Use a special tool (chain or belt wrench) to unscrew the oil filter;
  • Apply clean oil to the oil filter seal;
  • Use a belt wrench to apply the oil filter and check whether the oil filter gasket is sealed in place. Modify the setting value of the electronic control device and restore it to the initial value (1000 hours, the first maintenance is 500 hours).

4. Replace the Air Filter

Let the air compressor laser cutter cool down before maintenance work. The filter element cannot be reused or cleaned.

  • Remove the air filter cover and the old filter element;
  • Clean the inside of the air filter cover;
  • Install the new filter element and install the gland;
  • Modify the setting value of the electronic control device and restore it to the initial value (recommended 500-hour purge (compressed air pressure not higher than 2Bar) once, 1000 hours replacement).

5. Replace the Oil Separator Core

The disposal of the used oil separator core should comply with the relevant regulations on toxic wastewater. Let the air compressor laser cutter cool down before maintenance work.

  • Release the pressure before replacement, remove the oil separator barrel and the aftercooling connection pipeline, remove the return oil pipe and the intake valve pipeline, etc;
  • Remove the bolts and cover of the oil separator barrel, and remove the old oil separator core;
  • Replace the new "Hannimik" original laser special oil separator core and install the oil separator barrel cover. Pay attention to check whether the return oil pipe can reach the bottom of the oil separator core;
  • Connect the disassembled pipelines, etc;
  • Check the return oil of the return oil pipe after starting the machine.

6. Cooler Cleaning

Cooler blockage will cause the compressor exhaust temperature to rise, and eventually cause the compressor to shut down. Regularly (weekly) purge the cooler with compressed air not higher than 5Bar, and it is more effective to clean the inside of the cooler with a brush. (Note! Do not use a wire brush)
