QBH Fiber Optic Cable Introduction Guide

1. What is QBH Fiber Optic Cable?

QBH fiber optic cable is an international standard interface model for high-power fiber laser transmission. It integrates high-power cladding light stripper and end cap fusion, low transmission loss, high carrying power, high reflection tolerance, and provides water cooling and safety interlocking functions. The column of the QBH fiber head is of standard size. There is a cone for coaxial positioning above the laser output window. Three guide grooves are processed on the side of the column. Two copper rings are embedded above the grooves for electrical signal interlocking.

3. QBH Fiber Optic Cable Plugging and Unplugging

Optical Fiber Access

  • First place the laser head and the optical fiber interface in a horizontal state;
  • Do not remove the protective cover or protective tape of the laser head first;
  • Remove the fiber optic cable dust cap and check whether there is dust on the QBH and the optical fiber connector. If there is, clean it with a dust-free cleaning stick and IPA;
  • Remove the protective cover;
  • Gently insert the optical fiber into the QBH;
  • After inserting to the bottom, rotate the two red marks on the rotating sleeve as shown in the figure below to align with the white mark frame, or turn it until it cannot be rotated;
  • Then pull up the rotating sleeve in the direction shown in the figure;
  • After pulling it up, gently rotate it again with moderate force, usually it feels tight. It can be aligned or exceeded in the middle, but be careful not to twist it again.

    Pulling Out the Optical Fiber

    Reverse the above steps. Note:

    • The laser head and the optical fiber head must be cleaned before disassembly.
    • The laser head must be pulled out horizontally when plugging and unplugging the optical fiber.
    • After the fiber optic cable is pulled out, the optical fiber output head must be protected with a dust cap immediately
